Windows Spotlight

Windows Spotlight is Windows 10 feature that downloads images from Bing and displays different background images on the lock screen. What I love about this feature is because it shows so many beautiful pictures every day differently.

By default Windows 10 will show this image on lock screen:

Follow these steps if you want to activate Windows Spotlight:
  • Go to Settings (lower left Windows Start button, click Settings OR simply press Ctrl + i from keyboard)
  • Click Personalization | Lock Screen | then on Background choose Windows spotlight

  • Press Window button + L to see the effect. At right corner there will be a question "Like what you see?" to change the picture option.

We can also add Apps on the lock screen to show more information: Weather, Alarm & Clock, Calendar, Mail, Store, and Xbox.
